When I try to install or register the program I get an Error -5000.

Step 1. Launch the Installer. Stop at the color Splash Screen.
Step 2. Hold down the Option key. A Deregister button will appear between the Install and Quit buttons.

Step 3. Click the Deregister button. Click OK on the results window.
Step 4. Click the Install button.

If you still get the error and have OS 10.3 or earlier:

Step 1. Go to the File menu and select Find.
Step 2. Enter Desktop PCF.
Step 3. Click on the plus (+) button to add additional criteria.
Step 4. Select visibility from the first menu and invisible from the second.
Step 5. Click OK.
Step 6. When the search is complete, throw all copies of Desktop PCF and empty the Trash.
Step 7. Install again.

If you still have the error, it means that the Read/Write permissions to certain folders are set incorrectly. You should contact Tech Support at 408-947-2107 9:00 am to 5:00 pm PST, Monday through Friday.
